IAP 2004 Activity

ATIC Lab Open House
Kathy Cahill
Thu Jan 8, 11am-02:00pm, 7-143

No enrollment limit, no advance sign up
Single session event

Our annual open house focuses on the latest technologies for persons with disabilities. Are you aware of alternative ways to take notes in class or read written material? Can you navigate around a computer without using a mouse, a keyboard, or the monitor? We can show you how! Come to the lab and see Braille translation, screen reading, magnification, scanning and reading, voice recognition software, and more. Try out our TTY telephone, a note taking device, or a language assistance tool. Ask us questions about accommodations or accessibility. Note: If you are solely interested in keyboards and pointing devices for repetitive strain injuries, please attend our separate event on January 14, 12-2 pm.
