Prereq: Knowledge of C and C++, some programming experience

C++ is an increasingly popular and widely-used computer language, particularly in engineering. More and more emphasis is being placed on the ability to write ``good'' code for these applications. In this course, the basics of writing an effective program using C++ will be reviewed, with discussion of the important points, and some useful tips.
