Here's a chance to play with fire, make noise, and get dirty while exploring several techniques for joining various metals to one another. This four-week course will cover gas (oxy-acetylene) welding as well as two or three methods of electric arc welding (stick, MIG, and, possibly, TIG) and the ancillary skills (cutting, grinding, measuring) that contribute to these processes. All necessary safety apparel will be provided. Two sessions will be offered, one on Tuesdays and one on Thursdays. Participants will choose one day or the other for all four weeks.
