There are many resources available for the elementary school parent who wants to help their child learn. As children get older these resources become scarcer, and many parents find it more difficult to take on the role of teacher. The goal of this two day workshop is to begin a discussion and provide some information about how parents can be more involved with their adolescents' academics. Parents and others interested in the education of adolescents are encouraged to attend the two lunchtime sessions. Since there are a large number of possible topics that could be included in the workshop, participants are encouraged to register early so that the sessions can be tailored to the interests of those attending.
