Offers intercultural experience through a cultural and intellectual immersion in France. Advanced language skill-building through readings, lectures, conversations, writing, and a variety of real-world activities. Conducted in French. Limited to 12 via lottery.
MIT's Foreign Languages & Literatures invites undergraduates to apply for the 2011 January Scholars in France program. As of this academic year, the program is a six-unit credit-bearing subject that will include lectures, seminars, papers, and a final exam. The IAP program will allow up to twelve MIT students to experience two weeks (January 3 - 18, 2011) of tutored cultural immersion and cultural analysis in Paris and Marseilles.
