05/2/03 - 05/4/03- Steer Roast

04/25/03 - I-Fair
Now that the I-Fair 2003 is over, it is time we drew a conclusion: plenty of fun, perfect weather, amazing trade balance, nice music, good friends and thousands of smiles. The photographers did their best to catch the spirit of the event, but you should know that these pictures are nothing like the real I-Fair. In other words -- if you have missed it, you have missed a lot. The good news: we sold a ll kebapcheta, sarmi, baklawa, shopska salata, banitsa, and other specialitets that Tony, Greta, Eli, Nikola, and many others prepared with so much willingness and care. Let me express my gratitude to them on behalf of the Bulgarian club for their effort and sleepless cooking night before the I-Fair. We all had a wonderful time and hope you had too.

For the first time in the history of the International Fair at MIT the Bulgarian Club took part! We sold out all of our food (which was a lot!), Svetla took part in the Fashion Show, and overall everything went great! We raffled 4 compact discs and played traditional Bulgarian music. Check out our picture gallery to see it with your own eyes.

04/19/98 - Hristos Voskrese!
Today is the Bulgarian Easter (Velikden). This greatest day for all Christians was celebrated by the Bulgarian MIT community by attending midnight liturgies at local Orthodox churches. We also painted eggs and had the famous egg-cracking wrestle. Pictures to come soon (hopefully).
