Introduction

I'm an alumna of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a private, four-year university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I majored in Course 7 (Biology), although I took classes in Course 6 (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) and minored in Course 21M (Music and Theater Arts, specifically Music/Composition). I grew up in Massachusetts. I lived in Random Hall, a tightly knit community of people, cats, and computers.

I graduated in June of 2007 and will be entering graduate school in thefall of 2008 to pursue a Ph.D. in Biology, more specifically molecular evolution, at the University of Washington. I'd eventually like to work in research, perhaps as a university professor. Please take a look at my resume (Adobe PDF format). If you lack a PDF reader, you may find one at Adobe's web site.

Also, feel free to read my high school senior project and watch the presentation, both in Adobe PDF format.
