Project Goals

The goals of the project are to determine the sources of the data required for global supply chain models (gscm's). Such data, for example, would include tax rates, freight rates, offset trade requirements, etc. In addition, we are also concerned with such issues as the accuracy and format of the data. Quite often when gathering the data other issues arise, and a further goal of this project is to recognise and highlight these issues.

Project Progress

Most of the sources and issues have been determined though further work remains to be done in the area of data standards and format.
