Christian Rathmann is a researcher at the University of Texas in Austin. His dissertation focuses on the event structure of American Sign Language, including aspect and temporal interpretation. His other research areas include the morphosyntax of verb agreement and classifier constructions from a cross-linguistic perspective and the phonological properties of verb agreement.
