The New Technologies Workshop
With generous support from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation and the
AT&T Foundation, MIT's Community Fellows
Program and the Benton Foundation
organized the New Technologies Workshop. Held on July 9 & 10 1994
at MIT, the Workshop assembled a national panel of workers and
activists in telecommunications technology and policy to share
experiences with the technology itself and to explore its potential
consequences particularly for the United States, and the world in
general.
Ten unedited videotapes of the entire
conference are available at a base
cost of $7 per tape plus $2 for one to five tapes and $3 for six to
ten tapes.
Proceedings of the Workshop are being completed and will be made
available on this page when finished.
