One way JRDC promotes basic research is through IJRP, the International Joint Research Program, which is conducting 5-year, 50-50 cosponsored, twined, joint-research projects involving two key individuals, their institutions and the funding organizations, located in both Japan and abroad. By these programs JRDC is aiming to help establish borderless scientific adventures.
