(A trip at Tommaso's)

Sunday, May 20th, a group of Mitalians went to his place, to pay a tribute to his mastership in the ice-cream making. Tommaso was awarded, with a formal ceremony (?), the Silver Spoon. Surrounded by the lawns and the trees of Marino's farm in Wellesley, the Mitalians enjoyed the wonderful cooking and ice-cream Tommaso made for us.

...not to say about the wonderful Salame (4 chunks), bread (7 loaves), 10 kg of pasta alla cafona, 3 rabbits, and lotsa potatoes.

BTW, do you know the meaning of Cafone? When masters from the country went to Neaples, they used to keep track of their servants and peasants by having a rope connecting all of them, so they didn't get lost when walking. Those were "Chilli c'a fune"... i cafoni, appunto (courtesy of Tommaso).
