Events
The MITOR 2010 II Edition event took place June 28-29th at the Politecnico of Torino. The Advisory Board discussed and approved last year’s activities and seed fund recipients from Politecnico and MIT students interning at MIT described their research. Thanks to the many faculty, researchers and students who presented their work-- Paolo Maggiore, Vincenzo Arcidiacono, Franco Montevecchi, Stefano Grivet Talocia, Jean Marc Tulliani, Giancarlo Cicero, Paolo Baldissera, Daniela Tordella , Laura Socco, and Matteo Durelli , Andrea Carraro, John La Colla and Patrick Jupe—and congratulations on their achievements.

The third MITOR event will be held at MIT in the Summer of 2012, date TBD
Avv. Angela Benessia — Chair of the Compagnia di San Paolo — Prof. Francesco Profumo — Rector of Politecnico di Torino — and Prof. Carlo Ratti — MIT Professor and MIT-Italy Co-Director after the official signing of the agreement on November 6th, 2008 at the Politecnico di Torino. The signing took place in concomitance with the ceremony for the opening of the POLITO's 149th academic year. MIT President Susan Hockfield's sent the new collaboration her best wishes.
