The MITOR Project, a new collaboration between MIT, and the Politecnico di Torino made possible by the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo, was officially signed on November 6th, 2008 at the Politecnico di Torino. The signing took place in concomitance with the ceremony for the opening of the POLITO's 149th academic year. MIT President Susan Hockfield's wished the new collaboration good luck from Cambridge.
The MITOR project will officially kick off on September 14, 2009, the deadline for submitting joint MIT-POLITO seed funds applications.
