Then we research Chaos Lords. Turns out they can be affected by banish/repel demon and holy water since they bind demons into their armor. They can summon and control demons and cast chaos bolts.

We decide that the best plan is, "Alynna and Imre swap as each other, and we go to the ritual."

Imre asks Maxim Pellax for advice and is told to stride in and smite them.

Alynna goes to talk to Dekdarion. "Everyone dies sometime." She asks him what's up and asks for advice. "Make sure you understand what you are getting."

Orhan 3 Day 39 TE 6065

We stride up to the temple. The great doors swing open. We head in. We are inspired.

The temple is filled with orcs. There's a glowing ritual circle, a glowing altar, and chanting lugraki surrounding the altar. There's a human, one of mornan Xaon's fighters ties up on the altar. There's a clear passage way for us towards the cave.

Then good brother gets in the cage and closes the door. Imre (as Alynna) taunts him and gets taunted back.

At that point a beam of reddish light comes through the window and Atalakan materializes. Oathar reads the scroll of primal shielding. Akalatan looks around and says "Very well." He reaches his and out and an electrical blast hits the cage. A portal opens over the cage and now the cage has good brother in it. "Huh, how did I get here?"

The lugraki shamen are still chanting. Akalatan is surrounded by an unearthly reddish blackish glow. He says, "And now, time for my revenge."

Five bolts come shooting out at us. Our primal shields hold.

We roll for initiative. Oathar sees a line of power connecting the sacrifice on the altar to Atalakan. Haeraan starts killing shamen. Everyone else joins in. The shamen fall in a round. Haeraan says the dark god is drawing power from the sacrifice, and the only way to stop it is kill the sacrifice. There's a ritual dagger lying on top of the altar next to the guy with a little note that says "For Alynna".

We fights. Kyrik kills the hostage, who dies. Kyrik gets two corruption points. He's once more the evilest.

So he drops good brother and we start attacking him. Alynna mysteriously grows in size taking an extra strenght multiplier and reducing him from superlarge to large for her.

The battle went on for quite some time. Eventually, just before going down, akalatan attacks Alynna with a good enough strike to do her a corruption point. After that, he leaves.

We flee with good brother and niece.
