This work is a subset of a project funded by the NIH's Exposure Biology Program being conducted by researchers from MIT House_n.

In the process of developing tools for health and interaction design research on mobile phones, we encountered several hurdles. It became clear that applications that will be deployed and maintained remotely need to be able to:

1. run all the time
2. be restarted automatically if they unexpectedly crash
3. be updatable remotely
