The Great Mass Getaway
MS Bike Tour
June 25-26, 2005

Update: We raised $2,091 together!  As a total the tour raised more than 1.2 million.
It was a great experience.  Thanks for your support.

The Great Mass Getaway is a two-day 150 mile bicycle ride from Quincy to Provincetown, to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS).

MS is a chronic disease of the central nervous system which is not yet curable.  It typically strikes people between the ages of 20 and 40.  MS can result in lifelong physical and emotional problems, ranging from numbness and tingling to paralysis, blindness, and depression.

This bike tour is about raising money to find a cure for MS.  If you like, you can help me to raise funds for the NMSS by pledging on-line at http://www.nationalmssociety.org/mam/home/  Select EPLEDGE, search for my name, and you can make a secure donation with your credit card.

I'm part of a group of riders called Team Everest; many members have a personal connection with MS.  I am riding for my Ma who was diagnosed with MS on my first birthday, when she was 22.
