Today's new school architecture reflects a changing approach towards education which positions teaching facilities at the center of community life. Effective school buildings are now designed for multiple public functions as community centers, as well as for centers of learning and personal development. The exhibition examines this contemporary design process through 31 school projects in Switzerland, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Austria.
