Programs

Explore the fascinating world of MIT – cutting edge research, engineering and innovations, at a variety of programs and special events throughout the year. The Museum's educational and curatorial staff produce performances, talks, hands-on workshops and the popular Soap Box program for everyone who is interested in science, technology and its impact on our daily lives.

Special events like the Cambridge Science Festival, and the Friday After Thanksgiving chain reaction event attract thousands of people, while programs in the MIT 360 program arena at the Museum are intimate gatherings of 30 – 100 people who get together to talk to scientists, watch performances and participate in demonstrations.
