3/15/07: Updated FAQ, kit list. Friday night dinner and out-of-town team transportation logistics on the logistics page. If you are having trouble with your scale, any difficulty knowing what tools you will have at your disposal on contest day, or materials issues of any type, please contact Chris ASAP!
All teams: please contact Chris and Beryl with answers to the following questions: 1. Do you know how to use the scale? Are the instructions clear? 2. Assuming you have no difficulty in operating your scale, does it work, or is it broken?
2/26/07: We've gotten word that the scales have been breaking. Check out the kit page for care tips and to find out what we're doing about it.
2/10/07: The 2007 contest task is posted! Extra information about the kit is also available.
2/8/07: MIT Student Mentor assignments are online. Teachers: check to see who your mentor is! Mentors: contact your teacher(s), introduce yourself, and begin answering your team's questions. All: find a good teaching resource for physics, design, or plain ol' fun? Send it in!
1/27/07: Teacher training day was a success! If you took pictures, please send them in so they may be posted on the website. Some Rube Goldberg machine videos are accessible from the Online Resources page.
