Groups of up to 75 people may enter the Museum at a time. Be prepared to divide into smaller groups to explore the Museum. Student groups are required to bring 1 chaperone for every 8 students, and to divide into smaller chaperone-led groups during your visit. Chaperones are responsible for the behavior of students in the group; inappropriate behavior may result in groups not being allowed to visit the Museum.

Our MIT Museum gallery activity guides can assist teachers, group leaders, and chaperones with developing a positive gallery-based learning experience for student visitors.
