A post-doc position is immediately available in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT on polymer processing. The post-doc will work on a project funded by US Department of Energy through President Obama's American Manufacturing Initiative, aiming at developing manufacturing processes of polymer sheets with high thermal conductivity. Functions include developing the manufacturing platform, characterizing manufacturing processes and polymers produced, analyzing experimental data, coordinating team work and project reporting, interfacing with funding agency and industry.
