Funtionally identically URLs

The Web is weird. It's also poorly defined. One interesting problem encountered by search engines, caches, and confused humans is that many URLs can point to the same document. Due to a combination of multiple servers, path conventions, and symbolic links, all of the links below go to my home page.

if you want to link to my home page, use http://web.mit.edu/nathanw/. It's short, and goes to the right place.
