Ethnic Diaspora networks is an important tool for any modern manager or entrepreneur. In this class, we will learn about the origin and the development of ethnic Diasporas and how they have contributed to the growth of high-technology firms in India and China. Then, we will analyze case studies of managers and entrepreneurs who have successfully used ethnic Diaspora networks to take their businesses global. Lastly, we will discuss how manager or entrepreneurs of any ethnicity can cultivate and benefit from ethnic Diaspora networks.
