Microsoft Research iCampus Technology Innovation Student (MRiTIS) Prize
2008 Award and 2009 Launch Celebration

The Office of Educational Innovation and Technology (OEIT) and the MIT Council on Educational Technology (MITCET) cordially invite students, faculty, and staff to attend the award and launch ceremony for the MRiTIS Prize on Friday, September 12, at 5:30 pm during Innovation Night at the MIT Museum.
Professor Hal Abelson and Dr. Jennifer Chayes, Managing Director of the Microsoft Research New England lab, will present the 2008 MRiTIS Prize to the winning team, the creators of the MIT Course Picker.
OEIT Director Dr. M.S. Vijay Kumar and Mr. Paul Oka of Microsoft Research will launch the next annual process of nominations and applications for the 2009 MRiTIS Prize.
Made possible by a generous endowment by Microsoft Research to MIT following the conclusion of the iCampus initiative, the MRiTIS award recognizes innovative applications of information technology to enhance MIT education and/or improve MIT student life.
