Several years ago, Boston College developed a software application called MediaKron. MediaKron allows faculty to create and deliver media-rich content in creative ways. The original product development was funded through a Davis Educational Foundation grant and has yielded some interesting projects at Boston College.
This summer, the Davis Educational Foundation offered BC another grant to build upon that work, allowing them to invite other institutions to join in a community of scholarship around the tool. Toward that end, BC is seeking five partner institutions to develop two faculty projects each in MediaKron over the next two years.
