Monday July 2, 10:30 - 2:30, MIT, Building 5, Room 231.
Building on the groundbreaking work of Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey, this workshop will give participants the keys to unlock their potential and move forward professionally and personally. ITC helps individuals uncover "counter commitments" that work against self improvement and growth, using the underlying thesis that people change their behavior by changing their assumptions. Based on "Subject-Object Transfer" Theory, the ITC technique can be applied to organizations and companies, which we will also explore.
Please join us for a lively interactive session guaranteed to offer new insights and impetus for action.

Directions
By Public Transportation
Take the Red Line to Kendall/MIT stop. Exit the station, and walk south on the pathway towards Building E 23/25 (Medical Center). Turn left into E 23/25. Walk through the lobby, exit the other side of buidling, walk straight ahead, leaving List Art Center to your left and the Mudd Building to your right. After you cross Ames Street, enter Building 66 in front of you (odd triangular shape). You are now on the Infinite Corridor. Walk blithely through Buildings 66, 56, then slight jog left and right to Buildings 8, 4, 10 and 7 (in that order). When Building 7 ends in a huge lobby, turn left into Building 5 and find a stairway to the second floor and room 231. This is an 8 minute walk.
Or....
Take the Number 1 (Dudley) Bus that stops at 77 Mass. Ave. Exit bus and ascend broad steps of 77 Mass Ave. Once inside, turn right into Building 5 and find stairway to second floor and room 231.
By Car
Parking near the MIT campus is brutal. The following commercial garages offer day rates at exorbitant prices. A possible alternative would be to find meter parking (not too bad on a Tuesday morning in early July). Many meters are 2 hrs at $1/hr.
