OEIT Director Vijay Kumar will be the keynote speaker at this year's ICDE conference in Tianjin, China. The International Council for Open and Distance Education is the "leading global membership organization for enhancing the quality of open, distance, flexible and online education, including e-learning."
The conference attracts 1,000 participants from over 60 countries worldwide and will take place over 3 days in October 2013. Originally founded in 1938, the ICDE is a consultative partner with UNESCO and supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Education.
