Assumptions and Dependencies

Hephaestus makes the following assumptions.

1. It is beneficial to customers.
2. It is beneficial to developers.
3. It is beneficial to management.
4. Adequate resources will be allocated to follow the Hephaestus implementation plan.
5. Staff will be allowed resources to follow Hephaestus in their projects.
6. Management will encourage adherence to Hephaestus and discourage circumvention.

The Hephaestus process will fail if any of these assumptions are false.
