George Nicholson Student Paper Competition

The George Nicholson Student Paper Competition is awarded for outstanding papers in the field of operations research and the management sciences written by a student.

In the12 years between 1996 and 2007,19 out of 43 finalists for the Nicholson Award were either ORC students or students supervised by an ORC affiliated faculty member. During that same time period these students accounted for 5 out of the 11 award winners.
