About Us
Wow, so you really want to know more about who we are and what we do? Well,
here we go; the current inhabitants of Pecker Floor (in no particular order):
Pecker Floor's current resident Twinkie , there has been some debate as to whether Alex is a
Senior or a Grad student. This debate has recently been resolved with the
decision that Alex is actually in 16th grade.
|
Despite his meteoric rise to fame, Alex is still a little umcomfortable around cameras.
|
Although there'a link to Dave's web page here, we really have to caution you
about checking it out. If you don't come out in an hour, we'll be forced to
send someone in after you.
At last, a picture depiciting MIT students in
their natural habitat: indoors with a computer.
|
|
Jacob currently holds the dubious honor of being the maintainer of the
Random Hall Laundry
Server , which allows us to monitor the status of our washers and dryers
from a convenient Java applet. Neat, huh?
Josh Weaver
If every floor needs to have a Twinkie, than we certainly couldn't do without
our very own denizen of the MIT Media Lab
. Josh is a member of the Wearable Computing team , and is still trying to convince
us that someday we'll all look like cyborgs...
Dan Kamalic
Dan is one of those people that sort of defies description. How can you
summarize someone with ties to both The
MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players and The IHTFP Hack Gallery , who also happens to own more
computer cruft than anyone else in Random?
|
This picture is just too pleasant to make a smart
ass comment about, so enjoy it for what it is.
|
Dave is just another wild and crazy Course 6 major, as you can see from the
picture below:
It's Dave and Alex, back from yet another night
on the town.
|
|
Having just joined Pecker Floor this summer, Miro divides his time between
working for MIT I/S DCNS
(excuse me, Team Athena) as a watchmaker and being a
Mac enthusiast. We knew there still had to be one of them out there.....
Hareendra Yalamanchili
Hareendra can take credit for being one of the only people ever to be banished
from the High Scores list of "Jumble" for having a score that was too
high to be believed. Shows you what we do with our free time, huh?
|
Hareendra and Christian show off a little of that hacking ability that's gotten them where they are today.
|
Garry Zacheiss
Last but not least, the author of this page gets to rag on himself a little.
Apart from spending his days as a very lonely Physics major in the midst of a
horde of Course 6 majors, Garry donates the remainder of his time to The MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players , and has
plugged them as many times as is possible in these pages.
Garry relaxes after a long day.
