Design Work better communication
In "Product Engineering Processes," I worked with a team of 15 to design and build working alpha prototypes of new products. The class focused on creativity, product design, working within a budget, and gain unifying engineering experience.
Our team chose to work on a project that allows a wheelchair pusher to stand beside the wheelchair user while pushing. This allows increased communication and a drastic change in the "feel" of the interaction. The chair design implements a jaw-clutch in order to make pushing in a straight line from the side easy.
