Robotics Work optical object recognition

I took Maslab (6.186) during IAP of my freshman year. Although our three person team did not win the contest, we did win the "Best Dressed" award for the best looking robot. The robot featured laser-cut plastic sheets for the body structure, and was entirely designed on the computer, which allowed us to see problems with the design before the robot was constructed.


During IAP of my junior year, I joined the staff of Maslab as the Mechanical Staff. This position required the fabrication of the motor-to-wheel mounts and the motor-mount brackets from aluminum. I also taught three lectures and worked lab shifts to answer questions the students had during the period of the class.
