2.007, or Design and Manufacturing I, is a class that focuses on the contruction of remote controlled robot for use in competition using a given box of parts that is distributed to all students. Each year the rules to the competition vary slightly, as well as the competition table. The goal of the class is to teach students about design, innovation, and machining practices.
