Biography

As the life sciences industry vice president for Rockwell Automation, Bob Honor leads global sales and marketing efforts directed at helping pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device manufacturers use Rockwell Automation solutions to optimize productivity, improve product quality, reduce costs and assist with regulatory compliance.

Honor brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and engineering for a wide range of products and services in both process and discrete industries. Prior to joining Rockwell Automation, Honor held various positions with GE Fanuc. Most recently he served as the company's life sciences business lead, where he was responsible for strategy, sales and marketing and introducing GE Fanuc to the life sciences industry. In addition, Honor has worked at Total Control Products, where he was Business Unit Director for Operator Interfaces. He also has held sales and marketing positions with Keithley Instruments, an electrical testing and measurement solutions company, and Analog Devices, a leading provider of high performance semiconductors for signal processing applications.

Honor earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan .
