About MIT Pro-Life...
MIT Pro-Life is a student organization devoted to fostering respect for human life from the moment of conception until natural death, and to promoting educational support for the pro-life position.
Our pro-life efforts are mainly educational and campus-oriented. Our goal is to be a resource for MIT students to examine in depth the social, medical, and legal aspects of the pro-life response to issues such as abortion, euthanasia, and embryo-destructive research.
Our activities include sponsoring debates and speakers, maintaining an information booth on campus, and participating in joint events with other collegiate pro-life groups from the area. Other activities have included fund-raising sales, hosting baby showers for local mothers, participating in the annual national Pro-Life March in Washington, D.C., volunteering for Pregnancy Help centers, and engaging in sidewalk counseling at local abortion clinics.
