Orangutans and Parakeets

Orangutans and parakeets
A thousand miles apart will always live
The apes from tree to tree will leap
And startle not the birds in their arboreal sleep
The birds will flap their wings and squawk and screech
These sounds orangutan peace will never breach
The cushion of infinite space
Will keep their relationship replete with grace
O, that I were born orangutan
And you, inconsequential parakeet
