001 Settings

This setting is available for all supervisors or addressees responsible for cost objects. The 001 Settings page allows you to change the output of the 001 Cost Object Report. The current default is email.

Note: If you have any questions about this process, send email to cao-cost-objects@mit.edu.

1. Under Output Descriptions, click one of the radio buttons:

Email Report - You will receive an email report. You will receive one email for all changed cost objects and a separate one for all new cost objects.

Important: If you do not have an email address set up in SAP, you will not receive a report. Contact General Computing at computing-help@mit.edu or call (617) 253-1104 if you need to have your email address set up in SAP.

Redirect Email Report - Your email report will be redirected to another person whose MIT User ID you specify below.

No Output - You will no longer receive the 001 report.

Note: Your changed settings will take effect the next time the 001 report is run.

2. (For Redirect Email Report) Enter the person's MIT User ID (Kerberos ID) in the MIT User ID field, such as khutchin.

3. Press the Enter or Return key. The person's name and email address is filled in below for your verification.

Note: As a courtesy, please notify the person to whom you are redirecting the email report.

4. Click the Save Changes button.

5. Click the Home link (upper right) to return to the SAPweb Settings tab.
