Course Requirements, Fall 2001 Preparation, Attendance, Participation. Classes will focus on discussions of ethical issues primarily by looking at case studies. These cases may be drawn from the news, from real incidents here at MIT or they may be purely hypothetical. All assignments will be posted on the web site. You are expected to do the background readings and to come to class prepared to discuss the issues outlined in the assignment. Readings: Readings will be assigned each week. These will include readings from Web pages as well as class handouts. You are expected to read all of the Required texts as well as some of the Recommended texts. There are also a number of excellent books (see the bibliography) related to the subject. All of these books are available in my office for you to borrow at any time. Many are also available at either the Coop or Quantum Books.
