This year's European Short Film Festival was yet another great success. We received over 130 submissions from 12 countries and had more visitors than ever in a newly renovated theater with great sound and outstanding projection. Over the course of three days, some 40 European short films were presented to an accumulated audience of 600-650 short film lovers. We were especially pleased at the high turnout to our traditional Sunday Experimental night.

Thanks to all filmmakers and film schools who sent their latest productions. This made it really hard for the jury to make a selection out of so many excellent productions. And thanks to a great audience, their wonderful feedback, and their continued interest in European short films. We all look forward to the 6th European Short Film Festival at MIT in 2010. Please check back this site for announcements on next year's festival.
