As part of the annual student recruitment drive, SMA organises presentations to NUS and NTU undergraduates to invite them to apply to the SMA programmes. Final-year undergraduates from the fields of Engineering, Science and Computer Science were invited to the main presentations which were held on 9 and 16 October 2004 at NUS and NTU respectively.

Following these main presentations, focused presentations on the individual programmes were held on 8 November 2004. The presentations by the Programme Co-Chairs and Fellows gave the undergraduates the opportunity to find out more about the particular programme that they were interested in.

On 15 January 2005 and 5 February 2005, for the first time, SMA organised presentations to third-year NUS and NTU undergraduates of Engineering, Science and Computer Science at NUS and NTU respectively. This is to give them a headstart in the preparations required.

The last round of presentations to invite applications for the July 2005 intake were held for the final-year NUS and NTU undergraduates for the second time on 28 January 2005 and 3 February 2005 respectively. Students were invited to attend break-out sessions where they were given the chance to interact with the respective Programme Co-Chairs and Fellows.
