SMA not only encourages the professional growth of its students through the acquisition of academic knowledge but also aims to empower them in their own self-development through social and personal growth, by providing them with the avenue and resources to form Student Committees.
Students organise and participate in a variety of social and sporting events such as soccer tournaments and celebrations of significant cultural holidays. These outings provide students with opportunities to interact with each other and the SMA Fellows, allowing them to bond and forge closer relationships as well as develop them into dynamic individuals.
Activities and events organised by the Student Committees in the past year included:
- An outing to Sentosa island
- The Mid-Autumn festival celebration
- The Chinese New Year celebration
- A kayaking activity
