The MIT Solar Electric Vehicle Team is holding an info session on Monday, September 10 at 7:30PM in room 35-225!

SEVT is a student group that designs, builds, and races a new solar car every 2 years in the national and international arenas. We are just starting to design our next solar car to be raced in the U.S. and South Africa so this is the perfect time to get involved and be part of our next solar car!

Come hear about the many exciting facets of solar car racing and meet our team members! We come from all sorts of backgrounds ranging from mechanical engineering, EECS, material science, physics, aero/astro, energy, management, and even bio engineering.

No prior experience is needed. We'll teach you everything from designing and machining the electric system to the car suspension.
