In Class Presentations
The final presentations should be no more than 12 minutes long (we
will be timing them), followed by a brief question and answer period
(about 5 minutes). Be sure to practice the presentation and time it
to be certain that you can fit in everything you need. Twelve minutes
is not that much time, so you will need to be selective about what you
present. Some things you might want to include are: background
(brief!), problem statement, final concept (the overall system as well
as particular components), supporting analysis (if it is relevant and
easy to understand in the course of the presentation), future work.
If you are doing a demonstration, make sure that you have practiced it
several times so that it goes smoothly during the presentation.
Logistics
Let me know if there is anything in particular that you need for your
presentation (special AV equipment, for example). We will have an
overhead projector. If you want me to make overhead slides for you,
drop the originals by my office (1-337).
If you have any conflicts, please let me know as soon as possible so
that I can schedule the presentations accordingly.
