Over the next 18-24 months, MIT students, faculty, and staff will experience many improved services, including automated access to student financial and academic records, more efficient administrative processes, and a timely RA/TA appointment process. Plans are also underway for a centrally located Student Services Center to offer students the convenience of one-stop shopping for these improved services, reducing the need to visit numerous offices on campus. The process has begun to assemble the Financial and Academic Services Transition team, which will be known as FAST, which will handle this transition and implementation phase.
