The Technology and Culture
Forum at MIT sponsors
lectures and symposia that
address critical issues of
our time. The programs
explore the role of science
and technology in promoting
positive social, ecological,
and economic change. In
addition, they stimulate
discussion about the ethical
implications of scientific
discovery and technological
innovation.
“The Forum has played a
highly constructive role
in bringing critical issues
to the attention of the
campus and the community, and fostering
discussion and active
engagement. For me
personally, it has been a
great privilege to be able
to participate over the
years, occasions I always
look forward to with
much anticipation.”
Noam Chomsky
