Putting MIT's best videos onto the "big screen" could bring you more than global fame and the admiration of middle-schoolers everywhere. The top three entries will win prizes.
- 1st place: $1000
- 2nd place: $500
- 3rd place: $250
PLUS—Special Jury Prizes will be awarded for Honorable Mention, including Funniest, Most Inventive and more...
Dean of Engineering Thomas L. Magnanti will present the top prize winners* with a "TechAdemy Award" at a ceremony on Monday, May 17.
Winners will be selected by a combination of online votes from the MIT community and the choice of a panel of judges. Even if you don't win big, you could still get a $5 coupon* for Anna's Taqueria or Dunkin' Donuts just for submitting an entry if you're among the first 100 registered entrants or teams to upload! Not only that, your video may support an upcoming outreach website geared to inspire 7th-9th graders across the country—particularly girls and underrepresented minorities—to develop an interest in math, engineering and science.
* NOTE: Prizes will be awarded to winning entries. For winning team submissions, it will be up to team members to decide how to share the prize. Only one coupon per individual or team member regardless of how many entries submitted. Limit of four coupons per team.
