From the bathrooms to the science labs, from the swimming pools to the auditorium, the renovated Cambridge Rindge and Latin School is a model of environmentally conscious design and construction. In this tour, produced by CRLS students working as interns for Terrascope Youth Radio, you can hear how classroom ventilation systems automatically adapt to suit the number of people in the room at any time, how new flooring materials reduce the school’s use of harmful chemicals, and much more. You’ll even find out how energy that would otherwise be wasted is diverted to heat the pools.
