Are my pages in the search index?
There are two ways to check if your pages are in the index. You can check the status of your site from http://search.mit.edu/help/urlstatus.html. This status page only checks for one document at a time, but if you are looking for your the status for one page, this is a good method.

Another way to check for your documents is to actually search for them using the url: field, or the advanced search interface. The url: search provides a more accurate view of which of your pages are in the index.

If your pages are not in the index, you can add them using Update URL form, available from http://search.mit.edu/help/addurl.html. This page will also tell you when your pages are scheduled to be revisited.
