Quiet Comes as a Welcome ChangeQuiet comes as a welcome change. When speeding down Storrow Drive Rattled by cares of the day, The other drivers, And the sound of the roadway, Crossing onto the newly paved section, Quiet comes as a welcome change. Stepping out of the shower Into the home office Re-remembering The PC's been replaced by a Mac, Quiet comes as a welcome change. Performing that Centered Presence ritual: Find your feet; Take a breath; ahhhhh. Find your hands; Take a breath; ohhhhh. Find your head; Take a breath; ahhh haah. Take a breath and Quiet comes as a welcome change. Driving, working, living, loving. Finally able to manifest Patience and attentiveness. Feeling calm and centered at last. Quiet comes as a welcome change. |
