Monday, April 25th
- 8:30-10:00 AM: FREE breakfast! (UA CSL) at the Student Center Steps*
- 11 AM - 2 PM: Wellness Week Kickoff! (UA CSL) at Kresge Oval. Stop by and grab FREE fruit, homemade energy bars, granola bars, and much more!
- 7 PM - 8 PM: "How To Cheat Sleep!" Seminar (MIT Medical) in the Coffeehouse Lounge with Zan Barry! Learn how to make use of the little sleep MIT students get.
- 8:30-10:00 AM: FREE breakfast! (UA CSL) at the Student Center Steps*
- 10 AM - 3 PM: Bone marrow registration drive (ARCTAN) at the first floor of the Student Center ARCTAN is running a Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive in conjunction with DKMS, the world's largest marrow donor center, to raise awareness about the particular need for minority registrants. Registering is easy - stop by for a quick cheek swab and pick up some snacks and info about marrow donation. Registering does not necessarily mean a commitment to donate, but it could lead to a rewarding life experience!
- 6:00-7:00 PM: Spinning class (MIT Triathlon Club) at the Alumni Center Please sign up for a spinning bike at the Triathlon informational booth on Monday or email jandren@mit.edu. Limited to 12 people per session.
- 8:30-10:00 AM: FREE breakfast! (UA CSL) at the Student Center
- 11 AM - 1 PM: Bubble Fest (Active Minds) at the Student Center Steps* Have fun with bubbles of all sorts: blow bubbles, pop bubbles, chew bubbles, eat bubbles! Free bubble tea, bubble wrap, bubbly bubbles, and bubble gum until they run out.
- 6:00-10:00 PM: CPR training class (MIT EMS) at MIT Medical, room E23-007 Learn How to Save a Life – Get CPR Certified! This 4 hour course will teach you CPR mechanics and how to use an AED. Cost is completely subsidized by the UA! To register, email ems-cpr@mit.edu.
- 8:30-10:00 AM: FREE breakfast! (UA CSL) at the Student Center
- 10AM - 3PM: FREE Fruit and Bubblewrap! (MedLinks) on the Student Center Steps* Come enjoy some FREE fruit and pop bubble wrap for stress relief!
- 5:00-8:00 PM: What's Up Doc? (Active Minds/SHAC) at Baker House with Dr. Stephanie Kloos, Dr. Jenna Skinner, and Dr. Lauren Handley. Want answers to health questions? Interested in learning what it's like to be a doctor at MIT? Join us for the unique opportunity to ask MIT Medical clinicians your questions about health and wellness outside of business hours.
- 8:30-10:00 AM: FREE breakfast! (UA CSL) at the Student Center
- 6 PM: LSC Showing of A Beautiful Mind (Active Minds) in room 26-100. Followed by a discussion at 8:30 pm with Dr. Simon Lejeune from MIT Medical. Free food for the first 50 people! (Food given during the discussion).
- 10 PM: LSC Second Showing of A Beautiful Mind (Active Minds) in room 26-100.
- 9AM - 11AM: Iron Nerd Triathlon (MIT Triathlon Club) in Johnson Location: Z-Center pool and Briggs Field areas. Order: Swim, Bike, Run. Distance: "Mini" Sprint Triathlon. To register, sign up at the Triathlon booth on Monday, at race registration on Sunday at 9AM, or via email jandren@mit.edu. Anyone with access to the ZCenter facilities (i.e., students, faculty, staff, and affiliates) is welcome to participate. All racers, pre-registered or not, must be present at 9AM on Sunday to get their numbers and transition area set up.
